my body clock is so screwed up. day becomes nite, nite becomes day. and then i realised recently dat it mite be a side effect of prednisone. it gives u insomnia. maybe dats why ive been feeling awake at nite.
figuring out how to pass time when u r unwell is difficult. i grow tired easily of watching asian dramas, which can often be draggy. i have yet to finish a series dat ive started in the past few months. and ive turned to reading instead. which sometimes is more comforting than watching scenes play out in front of u. dats something satisfying abt being able to imagine or visualise in ur own mind how certain scenes play out. like it's ur own personal interpretation of a scene, not influenced by how some other person sees it. dats why ive often liked reading books before watching the film adaptations.
ive started reading the time traveller's wife today. the funny thing is i knew abt this book from watching the movie trailer. the movie trailer looked good and im a sucker for romantic stories. and the movie has finally been released here but yet im determined to finish reading the book before i venture off to see the movie. u could say seeing the trailer has already influenced my visual imageries when i read the book though. like i would imagine henry as eric bana and clare as rachel mcadams. oh but too bad abt dat. besides, im a big fan of rachel mcadams. ive always thought she was an amazing actress and especially loved her in the notebook, one of my all time favourite movies. and she was so convincing as a mean girl in mean girls. as for eric bana, he's ok. i still always associate him with being the green incredible hulk. even tho i never watched dat movie.
ive read abt a sixth of the book and so far it's been interesting. i just hope it doesnt disappoint me. i remember reading ps i love you and was disappointed. maybe it was cos the guy died. haha. anyways hopefully ill finish it before the year ends. here's the trailer for those who are unaware of the book or the movie.
