my holiday in sg

so the past week has been a holiday for me..it's kinda funny how this 3 mth elective has been pretty good, i get a week holiday just before i start each elective..in nepal, we got a week of orientation and sightseeing before starting at the hospital..and then i took a week off to explore nyc before starting my 4 wk rotation there..and then now i get another wk off cos of the swine flu scare..

initially i was already planning to head back to chch early since the possibility of me doing an elective here was getting pretty bleak..but then the scare here has settled down and the hospitals have lowered their level from orange to yellow..wat it actually means, i have no idea..but i called the coordinator to try and figure out wat my chances of doing the remainder 2 wks were..and then she kinda said report to the dean's office on mon?? i kinda cant remember exactly wat she said..but i didnt get any official email..but then ive heard dat other ppl have received emails so now im just gonna head to the dean's office tmr and see wat happens..sigh..now im dreading starting again..i always dread first days..it feels like the first day of school..haha..

otherwise ive been enjoying myself here..been meeting up with lots of ppl..been shopping HEAPS! omg i seriously have no money left..sometimes i really think im addicted to shopping..my whole family marvels at the way i shop..each day i can come home with at least one shopping bag..also got my haircut, got my nails done..eating lots..and still havent started on any of my elective reports or paeds chronic case..shoot..dats my mission in the next 2 wks tho..now dat the holiday is over..

so wish me luck for the next 2 wks..hopefully nothing else gets suspended..hope dat i wont get quizzed too badly..
