so my mum recommended me her hairdresser in bishopdale. she's korean but could actually understand english so no communication barrier with the usual korean hairdressers.
so i went intending to just cut my fringe and then the hairdresser said my layers were kinda messy so she recommended cutting a bit of the back portion to tidy it up.
in the end, the fringe is good. the haircut looks tidier. but there are less layers. i find it's more of a mix between the classic layers and the straight horizontal cut. it looks great once it's blowdried perfect. but without a good blowdry, my hair kinks. sigh. and ive had the horizontal cut before and my hair has a tendency to kink to one side. so this means my hair will be kinking away. unless i blowdry my hair perfectly, and i havent even mastered doing dat. i never could handle high maintenance hair.
and previously my hair was long, now i find dat it's pretty short. before the haircut, i was aiming to grow it out to waist length and see wat dat would be like. now looks like dat goal will take a longer time.
but now the next hair question is...should i dye my hair? professional or DIY dye? hmmm..
my hair in its former glory. sob sob..
looks like more practice with the blowdryer is needed. looks like it'll take me a few days to mourn over my hair..sigh..
