sparkle pony says...

i had my last assessment ever as a med student last wed and i passed! this means no more exams, tests, assessments, essays, etc etc to do for at least 2 years! woohoo! unless i decide to do something crazy like sit for usmle or do post grad dip stuff. meh. shall conquer dat obstacle when it presents itself.

in the meantime, i have 3 more days as a med student before starting life as a doctor! no more student discounts or having the excuse dat im still a student. start of new responsibilities. sigh. but more pay! and i get to sign scripts! which may not necessarily be a very safe thing. hmm.. im planning to enjoy this last wk in christchurch, spending it with family and frens. pigging out on food i wont get to eat in timaru. and bumming out while i still can. i shall definitely miss 3 month summer breaks. sigh.

on another note, i met up with a fren the other day who wishes to remain anonymous so we shall call her sparkle pony (she actually requested this pseudonym). she said something rather interesting. actually she said many interesting things dat day but im choosing to talk abt this in particular. she said dat the relationships dat last are the ones where the guy is older than the girl by at least 5 years AND she must be more intelligent than him. sparkle pony said dat this was according to evidence and ppl had actually done research abt it and sparkle pony is a post grad psychology student and i kno she's very intelligent so she must be rite.

she then went on to say dat my chances of finding a guy is thus very difficult becos it's hard to find someone who's dat much older than me. and also the fact dat im going to timaru. but why 5 years? is it a maturity thing? greater sense of security since he's more likely then to have a stable career and be well established? possibly. but i get why the girl should be more intelligent. cos at the end of the day, guys need someone who can be their mother at the same time, and it's always better to have a smart mother than a dumb mother rite? dats my theory anyways.

sparkle pony then also said something interesting. dat women with high IQs always end up in bad relationships becos they have low EQs *nod nod in agreement*

ive read abt this somewhere else. this means im doomed to have bad relationships. unless i have low IQ? hmmm.. but why do intelligent women make the wrong choices when it comes to men? why???  u'd think smart women would make wise decisions even when it comes to their love life. but no, it seems dats not the case. maybe cos smart women tend to be too focused on watever it is they are smart at, and they become stunned when there is interest from the opposite sex. being stunned makes them shocked, unable to use their head to make their usual smart decisions. so instead they make stupid decisions dat are not based on logical reasoning.

i seriously think too much.

sunny weekend ahead. planning to play in the sun and omg i have to start packing. i hate packing to the core. wat's worse is unpacking. urgh..the dread of it.
