city girl

im currently in KL now and was also recently in Bangkok. and wat ive noticed is big cities are really similar no matter where u go.

there are always gonna be the traffic jams, the tall skyscrapers, the masses of ppl and concrete everywhere.

my trip to Bangkok turned out to be a major shopping spree, simply becos i went with 3 other girls who had been there before and were major shopping junkies, worse than me..haha. but it was good cos after a full day of shopping, we would relax by having hour long foot massages that was less than 10 sing dollars. super cheap. and super good. there was a particular mall there which completely reminded me of singapore. just cos it was so similar.

and now im in KL hanging out at starbucks with 2 other girls and it feels like we were back in chch hanging out at starbucks too. except we're dressed in shorts and tshirts instead of jeans and jackets. coffee here is double in price due to the ringgit. lol. and we are surrounded by asians.

cities feel like home to me. and now im wondering how in the world am i gonna survive in little old timaru next yr?? looks like it'll be a temporary pause for the shopping addiction and the hustle and bustle of city life..at least for the next yr. then who knos, where ill be after timaru. but i think im highly likely to move to a bigger city the following yr. just cos i kno im a city girl at heart.
